Rob’s travel experiences began in 1996 as a high school band student when he had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe. His love of travel was born and led Rob to take his professional talents to Renaissance, Carnival, and Celebrity cruise lines. During his cruise line career, he performed in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, England, Belgium, Norway, Spain and Portugal. Cruise ships also carried his career to the Caribbean where he performed in St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, the Bahamas, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Aruba.
After returning to land, Rob taught high school band for 13 wildly successful years. His bands exclusively received superior ratings in both marching and concert settings at local, state, and national levels. His marching, concert, winter guard, percussion, and chamber ensembles have received numerous invitations to perform at conferences and clinics. As an educator, Rob shared his love of travel with his students by traveling with them to perform in Disney’s Magic Music Days Main Street Electric Lights Parade in Orlando, the Festival of Champions in Panama City, the McDonald’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Chicago, the Outback Bowl Parade in Tampa, the National Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington D.C., as well as other performances in Gatlinburg, St. Louis, Nashville, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Still a highly sought-after clinician and guest conductor, Rob joined the Group Travel Network family in 2018. He is excited to combine his lifelong experiences as a student, performer, and educator to create the best possible trip for you and your students!
